Join wonderful cooking classes and foodie tours all over Vietnam, along with visiting beautiful sites. You will have the chance to discover the local life at its best. Start your Vietnam culinary tour with the charming Hanoi, and then enjoy a scenic boat trip along the Ngo Dong River in Ninh Binh before heading southward to Hue, Hoian and finally Saigon with the peaceful Mekong Delta. All the country’s must-see sites are included, it is your choice to experience them the way you want!

Day 1 Hanoi Arrival

Welcome to Hanoi - the capital city of Vietnam with beautiful tree lined streets and colonial buildings, a heaven of vendor foods and hospitable people. Arrive in the Noi Bai International Airport, our guide will be waiting there to take you to your hotel in the city center for a short rest.
In the afternoon, you will take rickshaw tour along the streets of Hanoi, taking in the vibrant Old Quarter. Later on, savor an authentic Vietnamese dinner in one of the local restaurants.

Day 2 Hanoi City Tour – Foodie Tour

With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French-colonial buildings, peaceful lakes, oriental pagodas, and warm-hearted local people, Hanoi offers a timeless charm that people will definitely fall in love with.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting out on a full day guided tour where you will discover the cultural and natural beauty of Hanoi. The tour includes visits to main sites as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex (you just pass by), the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, the Presidential Palace, Temple of Literature, the Sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple and then, one of the city museums. Conclude the day with an interesting water puppet show - a traditional folk dance that stems from Southeast Asian wet rice culture.
In the evening, join our wonderful Hanoi food tour where you will have a chance to discover the delicious foods from local vendors. Follow our expert guide; you will sample from the delicious "Banh Cuon" to barbecued meat, veggies and finally seasonal fruits and tasty egg coffee.
Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Monday and Friday. Most of the museums are closed on Monday as well.

Day 3 Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Tam Coc Boat Trip

Leave behind busy Hanoi and set out on a 2-hour drive to discover Ninh Binh. Hoa Lu was the capital of Vietnam under Dinh Dynasty from 968 to 1009 AD until King Li Cong Uan moved the capital to Thang Long. First we will enjoy a bike trip on countryside roads to Hoa Lu to visit the Dinh and Le temples, while capturing pictures of the peaceful surroundings. Then we will continue cycling to Tam Coc, passing through the limestone peaks, rice fields and rural villages. After eating lunch in a local restaurant, you will continue your trip in Tam Coc with a romantic boat trip along the Ngo Dong river, as you sail among stunning rice paddies and ranges of limestone mountains. After the boat trip, we will return to Hanoi.

Day 4 Hanoi – Fly to Hue – Street food tour on cyclo

This morning is free for your leisure until you get transferred to Hanoi airport for your in-country flight to Hue. When you arrive in Hue, our driver and guide will be waiting and take you to your hotel in city center.
In the afternoon, take a guided tour to discover the main sites of the imperial city. Start the tour with visit of the Royal Citadel, then head to Thien Mu Pagoda - the iconic symbol of Hue and tomb of King Tu Duc. Conclude the city tour with the vibrant riverside Dong Ba Market where a variety of products are sold.
Later in the evening, take a cyclo trip around the streets of Hue to discover the local vendor foods. You will have chance to sample foods that are available in Central Vietnam only. Their unique tastes will not be easily forgotten!

Day 5 Hue – Danang – Hoian – Walking Tour

This morning, have breakfast at your hotel then head to Hoian. Stop en route at the Lang Co Bay for a spectacular view of the blue sea water and the nearby fishing villages. Arrive in the charming town of Hoian in the late morning and enjoy a short rest before joining the afternoon tour.
In the afternoon, take a guided walking tour along the beautiful narrow streets of the Hoian ancient town and visit some key sites such as the Japanese Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, and Ancient House.
The rest of the day is for your own explorations.

Day 6 Hoian Cooking Class – Boat trip

his morning you will enjoy your Vietnam culinary tour a little differently by joining a wonderful cooking class on Thuan Tinh Island - the official ecological zone of Hoian. Start with a market visit in which you will walk along the local shops and buy fresh ingredients for the cooking session. Then you will embark on a boat trip through the water coconut trees to get into the cooking venue - an open-to-the-air kitchen where everything is set up and ready to go. Under the instructions of the chef, you will be able to cook some local foods and finally, dine on your own creations!
In the afternoon, take a boat trip to a nearby island to visit a handicraft village where people manufacture ceramic products. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

Day 7 Hoian – Danang – Fly to Saigon – City Tour

Enjoy a leisurely morning before traveling to Danang Airport for your onward flight to Saigon - the biggest city in Vietnam. Following your arrival in Saigon, our driver and guide will take you to your hotel in the city center.
In the afternoon, take a guided tour to visit some city key sites such as the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, City Post Office and Ben Thanh market.

Day 8 Saigon – Ho Chi Minh Cooking Class – Cu Chi Tunnels

Today you travel out of Saigon for another cooking experience in your Vietnam food tour with the Ho Chi Minh cooking class near the Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1 hour drive, you will arrive in the cooking center and start touring its agricultural villages to discover the wide variety of veggie, herbs, spices, cows and buffalo raising areas. All the ingredients used in the cooking class are from this village. Later on, you will join the cooking class under the detailed instruction from the chef to cook 3 main dishes and 1 dessert - all Vietnamese foods! Savor your own creations.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels - a vast underground defending system of Viet Cong during Vietnam War which could house up to 10,000 people. The tunnels were constructed with hospitals, living rooms, kitchens, storage and working areas also in an approximate length of 250km. The remaining tunnels, nowadays, are a must-see destination for tourists who come to Vietnam to get a view of the underground life during the war time. You can also join a shooting trial using an AK47 or MK16 with separate fees. Drive back to Saigon in the late afternoon.

Day 9 Saigon – Mekong Delta (Ben Tre) Day Trip

After breakfast at your hotel, our driver and guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to take you on a 2-hour drive to Ben Tre Province. Along the route, we will stop in Tien Giang for a short visit of the Vinh Trang Pagoda - an ancient southern architectural gem.
After we arrive in Hung Vuong Pier in Ben Tre, we will take a boat trip on the Ben Tre River – one of tributaries of Mekong River, and observe lively activities such as fishing and water transferring. First stop will be local brickwork where bricks are made manually in the traditional way. Then we will visit one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along the canal. Then we disembark via boat; enjoy a leisure walk or bike ride to a local family for lunch.
In the afternoon, continue walking in a village that makes sleeping mats and then take a relaxing rowboat along the palm creek and row back to Hung Vuong Pier. Our driver will be waiting there to take you back to your hotel in Saigon.

Day 10 Saigon - Departure

Today is your last day of your Vietnam food tour. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then wander around the city for last minute shopping or sightseeing before getting transferred to Saigon Airport for your onward flight.
