Joining our trip you will have a great time experiencing two different lifestyles in one country, each with their own famous destinations. Besides this, you will also be immersed in the breathtaking scenery of a Natural Wonder of the World - Ha Long Bay.

Day 1 Hanoi - Arrival

Welcome to Hanoi - the capital city of Vietnam. Arrive in Noi Bai International Airport, and your driver will be waiting there to take you to your hotel in the city center. The rest of day is free at your leisure.

Day 2 Hanoi - City tour

With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French-colonial buildings, peaceful lakes, oriental pagodas, and warm-hearted local people, Hanoi offers a timeless charm that will make people fall in love with it.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting out on a full day guided tour where you will discover the cultural and natural beauty of Hanoi. The tour includes visits to the main sites such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, the Presidential Palace, and Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam. Continue on to visit the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple in West Lake and then the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology - one of the most attractive museums in Hanoi to learn about 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
Conclude the day with an interesting water puppet show - a traditional folk dance with roots from the Southeast Asian's wet rice culture.

Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Monday and Friday. Most of the museums are closed on Monday as well.

Day 3 Hanoi - Halong Bay - Cruise Experience

Today, you’ll go on a 3-4 hour journey to Halong Bay – a natural world wonder. You’ll spend a night onboard an elegant junk, cruising on the emerald water to the far and less touched areas of Halong; it is a lifetime experience that you will never forget!
You’ll arrive at the dock at around noon when you will then embark on the cruise, followed by a delicious lunch while the cruise sails further into the secluded, island-dotted bay. You will join in the cruise's activities such as visiting caves and sandstone islands, and kayaking.. And at night, relax on the sun deck or go squid fishing.

Day 4 Halong - Hanoi

Take advantage of waking up early to capture the most beautiful moments of the bay during sun rise, then attend a Tai Chi lesson onboard with other passengers. A light breakfast is served with pastries and coffee while your cruise continues sailing through the islands. Depending on each cruise, you may visit nearby islands in a row boat then navigate back to the Halong jetty.
You will be transferred back to Hanoi later today.

Day 5 Hanoi - Flight to Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Ho Chi Minh City (aka Saigon) - the biggest city and financial hub of Vietnam. Our driver and guide will be waiting at the arrivals hall to assist you to your hotel for check-in. For the remainder of your day you will be free to relax and unwind.

Day 6 Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnels

You will have a full day tour around the key sites of Saigon, crossing the busy streets of this dynamic city once called the "Pearl of the Far East".
Start the tour with Reunification Palace - the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975. Then you’ll visit the Notre Dame Cathedral and the City Post Office. Next, you will take a visit to China Town.
In the afternoon, you will travel for about 70km to the northwest of Saigon for a half-day Vietnam heritage tour of Cu Chi Tunnels - a vast underground defence system of Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, which housed up to 10,000 people. The tunnels were constructed with hospitals, living rooms, kitchens, storage and working areas, and it’s approximately 250km in length. The remaining tunnels, nowadays, are a must-see destination for tourists who come to Vietnam to get a view of underground life during the war time. You can also do a shooting trial using an AK47 or MK16 at an additional cost.

Day 7 Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (My Tho) - Vinh Trang

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then you'll get on a day trip to the Mekong Delta, the world's largest delta. You'll arrive in My Tho City, capital of Tien Giang Province, and then board a boat to navigate through intricate canals while observing local daily life up close as well as the landscape of waterways and lush islands. Land on Thoi Son Island for a break then continue on to visit households with traditional occupations like home-based coconut candy making. Go back to the boat to visit a bee farm to enjoy fresh honey tea and fresh fruits. Then get on a horse-drawn cart to go further into village. You'll have lunch at Mekong Delta of local specialties at your own expense. On the way back, stop to visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, a prominent local Buddhist structure built in 1850 with a unique Vietnamese architectural mixture. You'll then stay overnight at the hotel.
