Cycling along the small and windy paths of the village to the vegetable field where many local people are working on. Enjoy the sightseeing en route and stop to take photos at your leisure. From Sapa, we go along the main road to Muong Hoa Valley; from here you will admire the panorama view of the town and valley. After 4km on the main road, we will go down to the valley by the small trails through the terrace rice fields to get to Y Linh Ho hamlet, a small village of the Black Hmong people. After that, we will go along the river to Lao Chai village (which means “old village” in the local dialect.). Here you will visit some local families and listen to your guide's explanation about the local culture’s way of life, including building traditional homes and making clothing.

Unlike other Hmong villages, these 2 villages are still untouched by mass tourism and everything seems to be preserved here. The H'mong people in Sau Chua have just changed their living way from swidden cultivation style into the sedentary one. Hence, there are still a lot of traces of the past that can be seen such as rudimentary houses and stone wall around houses. Walking through the village, you’ll have plenty of chances to interact with local people for a closer view of the local lifestyle. We will drive back to Laocai Train Station, where most Vietnam off the beaten track tours bring to an end, in the afternoon for your night train back to Hanoi.
